Research for the Australian Energy Regulator on Options to Improve Econometric Benchmarking of Electricity Networks

In 2025, Quantonomics, with Professor Valentin Zelenyuk of the University of Queensland, produced the report ‘Electricity Distribution Benchmarking Opex Model Development’ for the Australian Energy Regulator. This study explored potential refinements to the econometric opex benchmarking models that could improve their performance.
